About Our Rallies
We try to book the next years rallies 12 months out with RV parks that
have the amenities we need for a successful gathering. We book
a specific number of sites to be held on reserve for the rally.
We try to post the next year's schedule on the website by November of the current year.
We usually book rallies mid week (Mon- Fri) as most of the group are retired
and this leaves weekends and holidays for other family activities.
Locations and Rally Hosts:
We typically hold 7 rallies a year and vary the locations around the state.
This enables members to attend as many as they can within a reasonable
distance from their home. Members are welcome to attend any of the rallies
regardless of where the location is. We completely understand that time and
distance play a major part in attendance to any given rally.
Rally Activities:
The announcement post will list the planned activities. We try to incluide 2 or 3 group activities each rally
ie. beanbag baseball, card tournaments, and everyone is invited to participate,
but no activity is mandatory!
The rally hall is open for everyone to enjoy games of choice ie. Fastrack, Swoop, etc.
If there is something of interest going on in the area, we will post those activities as well,
so everyone can participate as they desire.
Rally Meals:
Meals for each rally will be planned by the rally hosts and consists of pot lucks, provided meals, and dining out.
The pot lucks are true potluck and there are no sign up for a particular dish. At times, the club will provide the entire meal and also
just furnish the meat with sides requested.
For the pot lucks we ask that you bring a dish to share with about 8 people, your beverage of choice, and your own tableware.
A donation box will be present at each rally to help defray the cost of the provided meals, and other rally expenses. .
