Boomer Bugle - 2025
Welcome Back Boomers, Longhorn, Niederwald![]()
We starte the 2025 rally year at Longhorn in Niederwald with Jodi's team hosting. Lynn Heene made and provided great decorations, and we all had a fun time visiting and playing table games. We enjoyd a big 30's tournament, won by Sherry Smith.
Pink Chicken 25th Birthday, Coushatte, Bellville![]()
We celebrated the beloved Pink Chicken's 25th birthday in grand style. We gathered at Coushatte Rv Ranch in Bellville in March. We visited and played many table games, and enjoyed a big cupcake birthday cake at the the Pink Chicken birthday party.
25th Anniversary Rally, Skyline Ranch, Bandera![]()
In May we held our 25th anniversary rally at Skyline ranch in Bandera. It was well attended with many boomers returning that we had not seen in a while. Ms Sandy set up a memorial table for those boomers that had passed, and also memorbilia from her time as wagonmaster. Jimmy Lee entertained us for the 1st time in 5 years and put on a wonderful show, and Mike Rowe won the Texas Holdem Tournament
Annual 4th of July Celebration, Salmon Lake, Grapeland![]()
At our annual 4th of July bash we played boomer baseball on our new cornball board (shown is the winning team). We played many games of choice, enjoyed our infamous garbage can dinner, and zippy omelet breakfastr. As we do every year, the club put on a magnificent fireworks show on the dam of Salmon Lake which is enjoyed by the whole community.
1st Ever Hawaiian Luau Rally, Johnson Creek, Ingram![]()
Everyone donned their finest Hawaiian garb and enjoy a really fun Luau, hosted by Priscilla and Carolyn. We had a cocunut bowling competition, along with other games of choice. Pat won the 30's tournament. Don, ably assisted by Betsy, prepared the pig for an incredible Hawaiian Luau feast. Great fun at Johnson Creek's Western Town.
Christmas Rally, Brazos Valley, Caldwell![]()
We concluded the year at our Christmas Rally at Brazos Valley. Jodi, Scott, Sherry, and Darrell did a wonderful job hosting the festivities. Though we were a smaller group than usual, we had loads of fun and food. We collected many toys for tots and donated them to a local charity in Caldwell
The Boomers enjoyed another great rally year in 2025.
